How do I sign up for a consultation?
Schedule your consultation with us by filling out the contact form with all of your details, and we will contact you to schedule your initial consultation and free first session.
Do I have to be fit to join?
No! No matter what your current fitness level is, we have the fitness program that is right for you. Every workout is designed to help you succeed, improve fitness, and move you toward your goals. Our program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience.
What can I expect my first time in your gym to be like?
One of our awesome trainers will give you a tour of our facility and get to know all about YOU! We’ll talk through what you’ve tried in the past for fitness and nutrition, and what your current goals are and why they are so important to you. This is the perfect time to ask any questions you have about Muscle Farm. If you’re a personal training or body comp client then your first day will also include baseline testing and body composition measurements so we can track your progress as you move through your training program.
What if I don't want to look bulky?
Our programs are specifically designed to meet your goals. If you aren’t looking to add muscle mass at that level, then your training will reflect that. Often times people think lifting weights will make them look like a bodybuilder but a “bulky” body shape requires very specific training and nutrition and we aren’t going to program that for you unless that’s your goal.
Do I have to stop eating my favorite foods to be healthy?
No! A healthy lifestyle has to be manageable and realistic for the long term. Do enjoy special indulgences and meals! The healthier you are, the healthier you tend to want to eat. You get hooked on feeling good, and junk food just isn’t worth it. By avoiding excessive amounts of refined carbohydrates and measuring your intake of protein, carbohydrates, and fat, you will see dramatic, measurable increases in health.
How long does it take to see results?
Results take time, but if you’re consistent, they will come. If you are a beginner, results will come fairly quickly; even in only 30 days, you may start to see a difference in your strength and overall fitness.
What sets you apart from other gyms?
Every gym will give you a reason to choose them as your place to train. At Muscle Farm, our top priority is to build a training environment that isn’t just somewhere you workout, it’s a safe space away from home where you feel like family, encouraged through your challenges, and empowered through your successes. We want you to feel at home when you walk through our doors and know that you are capable of achieving your goals!
What kind of exercises can I expect during a workout?
Our session programming will include both strength and cardio aspects. You can expect to complete standard strength exercises like bench pressing, deadlifting, and squatting, alongside exercises that involve dumbbells, bands, medicine balls and more. Your selected training program exercises will be explained to you by one of our trainers each time you come to Muscle Farm to workout. We will never give you an exercise to complete without a tutorial and instructional cues. Workouts can be anywhere between 45 to 60 minutes.
How often do you recommend coming to workout classes?
If you are a beginner, we recommend starting with 2 to 3 classes a week, with the goal of working up to 5 a week after your first few months. It may take a while for your body to get used to training at that intensity, so listen to your body and know you will need recovery time between training days.
What is the difference between Body Comp and Body Burn?
While both Body Comp and Body Burn are group classes, our Body Burn class uses high-calorie burning, total body workouts using bands, medicine balls, free weights, and other equipment. These classes will follow standard HIIT (high-intensity interval training) workout formats like Tabatas, AMRAPs, and circuits. Body Comp is predominately a strength class that involves racks and barbells plus all other equipment in the gym. We consider this class to be “personal training in a group setting” (avg. size 3+). Our Body Comp program also includes educational materials with nutrient timing and wellness tips intended to supplement your training to help you reach your goals faster.
